mark@mbb
Can you not fit a speed controller between the battery and the motor

decoy1979
hi i have made a pigeon magnet useing a saxo windscreen motor and I am powering it with a 12 v car battery but its doing around 60 rpm witch seems way too fast any ideas how to slow it down First rotary i had was a home made jobby, only ever worked in the rain and then it was only intermittent.. On a serious note the ford escort wiper motor that i used was two speed, so do you have a second connector/pin available for the live that could be slow speed? aga man
if you are using dead birds on the magnet the weight of the birds will slow it down a bit. try using it at that speed before you slow it down, you might be suprised how well the birds respond.
