JohnFreeman1310
hi new to air guns and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the prestige black kat pcp rifle or any of there products. http://www.pellpax.co.uk/acatalog/Precharged_Rifle_of_the_YEAR.html thanks john
NIGHT SEARCHER
Not very good look for reviews on them just google it. I had a look at them and found them poor quality and way over priced. There`s far better Rifles out there for the money.
evo
for that price think you would be better with an AA s410, tried and tested , great rifles
moorvale55
That's a new one to me, it looks ok and the review seems good. What you need to know is how reliable are the internal seals, (are replacements available ?). Ask the dealer if you can try it out. Visit your local dealer and ask for any information they may have. AGS made the PCR1 rifle, it was great until a seal packed up, then it was a nightmare to get one replaced. Don't rush into it, as often said on this site "buy cheap, buy twice". secretagentmole
Look at this page very carefully!!!! http://www.solware.co.uk/air-pistol-air-rifle/Prestige-Airguns.shtml Note what it says that should set alarm bells ringing inside and outside your mind? DISCONTINUED NO LONGER IN MANUFACTURING That is right, they are not making them anymore, company gone belly up, bust, sunk, collapsed. Pellpax have got a load of discontinued/bankrupt stock air rifles and they are trying to get way too much money for them! Why did Prestige go bankrupt? These things were priced at the same level as HW100 rifles, but were rubbish. The trigger was sticky and painful to use after a long session, the mechanism was graunchy and ground, they, quite simply were an abomination from the far east that was as possible from the name. They were not prestigious but were overpriced imported rubbish! Do not buy, service will be non existent, though someone is importing them again, an outfit in Scotland somewhere, they will be forever a pain in the backside to get spares for. Just forget about it! secretagentmole
I prepared one for export to a mad Belgian who bought it, it is without doubt the worst PCP I have ever fired! It was worse than a BSA Ultra (and people will testify how much I love those). I had to empty the air cylinder, so I got to know the cocking mechanism and trigger well. Not a pleasant experience and other people have found the same!
