Pigeon sniper
Hi guys I'm new to pigeon watch but I'm on a few other forums. I'm currently studying gamekeeping at newton rigg but need something to do during the summer holidays So, Would anyone be willing to take a young student keeper on over the summer? July through to September just to keep me occupied over summer and try to save a bit towards car insurance If needed I have a full cv and can get references Cheers for any replies Jamie
Martin g
Welcome to the site. Mite help if you let people Know what area your looking for work.. If you dont find anything gamekeeping related, have you thought about getting in with a contractor for carting corn at harvest time. http://www.co-operative.coop/farms/careers/seasonal-arable-work/ Edited April 2, 2013 by Martin g

Alycidon
You would need to advise what area of the country you need to work in. It is a busy time of year so someone should come forward but dont expect a lot of pay. A

scotslad
If ur from the north east u could probably beat 5 or days days a week once the grouse starts (depending on the numbers), there are some scottish moors that will put u up throu the season and feed u and sometimes u can get other estate work on the non shooting days Like some 1 said be plenty off work on tractors carting silage from may time onwards, could also try phoneing a few fencing/dyking contractors if there needing a labourer always handy skills to learn. good luck
