TJ91
Where? Tracks are all different. Wear protection, go easy but not too easy, some bumps are easier to jump than ride over. Walk the track a couple times before you ride it.
Malik
Wouldnt go there mate. 1 im sure its illegal, 2 its pretty dangerous, 3 last time i went in the van. Police were patroling. This was like last year though.... Unless i am missing something and its been bought off the quarry owners and turned into a legal motorcross site? Get yourself down gonerby moor mx track. Its alright for beginner/intermetiate riders. There is a place in doncaster at armthorpe which is really good! http://forums.mxtrax.co.uk/forum.php Have a look on there, all the info you need about anything. Oh and when you come to a jump, squeeze the bike with your boots, so when you lift off.... You stay with the bike!
Gordon R
Don't go anywhere other than a properly organised track, with access to first aid / medical attention. Both my sons raced at a high level, but suffered broken legs, shoulders and spine. Without rapid access to these, they would have been in a spot of bother. SPARKIE
desert is a proper track now here http://www.desertoffroad.co.uk/ if you are new to it Ryan be very careful it can be very dangerous and daunting to a new rider going straight out to a bust track like desert.....id recommend somewhere like bonsall moor nr matlock for a first time rider its in the sticks and gets very few people there which make it better for learning without the pressure of everyone else going by and pushing a slower rider into problems. were riding there sat so if ya want directions or more info pm me...
