JDog
I much prefer to decoy when the winds are strong. It means that it is possible to channel the birds where you need them - if there are any birds that is.
pigeon controller
Strong winds are great for pigeon shooting as they tend to hug the valleys ang give tremendous speed to crossing shots. Bring it on.
stevekeating
So the only thing missing this morning was pigeons. Lol The one that did decoy was good, we had the wind crossing us so had a comma shape but no rotor and about 20 shells and fulls. Plenty of crows about but they were an fresh drillings in the next field. Note to self, take crow decoys. D'oh...
stevekeating
found em, it would seem that the ones on this rape field prefer and evening munch and go somewhere else for breakfast. Shot 4 and saw many more but they were in the direction of the road so no shot. great day which makes up for a winter shivering and not seeing ANY pigeons.
