JDog
Every one has different stories to tell about their nets. Personally I use a thickish net to hide me and the dogs and then I use a Jack Pyke mesh net to see through. I think that the discovery of this net has benefitted my decoying ability more than any other aid, including my rotary.

JDog
It's just that I don't have a Pinewood net so I am unable to comment.
bigman
Fair enough mate , just Iv found you get what you pay with decouying equipment etc , the pinewoods gear looks good but Iv not seen a net in the flesh hoping somebody could enlighten me :-)
fenboy
The pinewood net is the one , I ordered and paid for only to find there is going to be a 3 week or so wait after they took my payment . they have to make the net up themselves and are waiting for the backing material. The only difference between the net and scrim is one has the scrim fitted to a net back which makes it much stronger .
bigman
Thanks for that mate , which did you go for?
fenboy
The moorland from memory as I wanted one with browner tones
bigman
I'm bit confused as the scrim ones seem cheaper than the nets , I'm I right in thinking that the scrims are the same as the net type only with a backing included? fenboy
Yes thats right
bigman
Just strange that the scrim is cheaper than just the net? , did you go for net type or scrim
fenboy
The net is more expensive than the scrim because it is the same scrim but attached to a net backing so therefore stronger. I went for the net.
bigman
Ah I get it now the scrim is the camo pattern bit with the leafy cut outs , I really like the look of them trouble choosing between the moorland and woodland pattern
