suggs Posted November 20, 2006 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 Hi all i have 5 chokes with my new silver pigeon, F (full) IM (improved modified) M (modified) IC (improved cylinder) and CL (cylinder), dont think its got a skeet choke. anyway i havent a clue whats what, none of them say 1/4 or 1/2 etc so dont know what to fit for genarel sporting clays, anyone shed some light on it for me.. cheers H Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

thegreg Posted November 20, 2006 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 Hi mate, greg of the BBS, only just joined on here! good choice of gun btw right they all should have little stars on them 1 star being full choke and 5 stars being cylinder. the one you called IC comes up as 1/4 on the gauge, IM is 3/4 M is 1/2, skeet should say SK on it. missedagainstan Posted November 20, 2006 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 With my berreta it had optimachoke, silver choke that stuck out the end of the barrel, they should have small * markings on the side of the choke and a colour band around the top. * = full - White ** = 3/4 - Black *** = 1/2 - Green **** = 1/4 - Yellow Skeet = Red If not and the choke screw flush down inside the barrel then there should be notches marked on the rim of each choke, each notch is the same as with above *.
