Nildes
I've got a Lab puppy, 12 weks old. He wants to chew everything I've got a bag of raw deer ribs and dry trimmings left over from the last stalk. Can I safely give him one to chew? MC
Nildes, I believe that uncooked bones are fine for dogs. When I was at the CLA game fair watching a River Cottage demo where they butcher a deer Merlin made such a fuss that the butcher gave him a back leg with some meat on it. He promptly ate it and then was violently sick several times. From what my vet has told me is that venison is too rich and he probably couldn't digest it properly. I would try a little at a time or cook some of the trimmings first.

darebear
my answer would be a crate/cage. to date ours went through one dining room table and four chairs, many feet of skirting board, a rather large hole in the wall ( don't ask), a mobile phone (it was scaffy's, NOT MINE i might add ).
