fabarm gamma boy
After lots of thought over the last month or 2 and considering spring and pcp narrowed down to these! Fx t12 , air arms s200 air arms s400 , bsa ultra, bsa scorpion, i cant make up my mind i like the s400 the most but just wanting oppinions, so heres what it will be used for: rabbiting in close quarters with in 30yds, alot of ratting and the odd tree rat and feral pigeons! Every thing else is sgc /fac! Iv had many air rifles to boot including an s200 and an s310 both in 177, iv had just about every popular spring gun around in including some theoben gas rams also which i found fairly harsh for an airgun but tbh pcps make the job easier i think! Im swaying toward the s400/10 series mainly because my s310 was amazingly accurate and i wish to god id kept it now but hey! So lads and lasses what gun will be my best bet as i want a gun that will give years of trouble free service! cheers

NIGHT SEARCHER
Have a look at Hatsan`s. The AT 44-10W and the BT 65. Both have a Walther match barrels. Air gauge. 2 x 10 shoot mags. In your budget you could get a gun. A good Scope. Silencer. Air Cylinder or pump. I would go for an Air Cylinder has you are filling your gun with clean dry air. No Moisture. I have 2 Hatsan AT-44 10W one in .177 and one in .22 and they are excellent and very accurate. The choice of Rifles is endless there are so many good quality Rifles out there. Have a look at the reviews on www.airgun.tv/home/ and guns for sale on www.gunstar.co.uk And www.hatsan.com.tr/ look under spring air rifle and PCP air rifles. secretagentmole
Best bet as a gun that will give years of trouble free service? Be reliable? Have a lifetime warranty? Buy a BSA Super 10 and get it blueprint tuned by John Bowkett! That sir is a premier air gun!
NIGHT SEARCHER
The Hatsan AT 44 10 W is the ones with a walnut stock I dislike synthetic stocks. Give me a nice piece of wood on a gun any day. Synthetic feels like *rap. Like the mole says a Super 10 or an R10 are very good Rifles. I have a BSA Super 10 bull barrel in .177 and it`s very good. All super 10s and R10s are Regulated so are very consistent and accurate.

evo
for £550-600 why don't you get the s410 , tried and tested rifle and stood the test of time, an excellent piece of kit or try and get a second hand huntsman classic (hard to find tho) best wishes Evo
bruno22rf
The S410, for that little extra, would be a wiser choice-the S400 is superb in every aspect but there will be times (like when ratting) when a multi shot will be usefull. If you get a S400/410 let me know if you need a moderator-I have an AA jobby and the instruction manual;/fill adaptor for these guns laying around gathering dust-yours for the postrage (£5?)
