THE AD
Decided to do a bit of piking on Sunday so the grandson and i got away early doors. Stopped to get some bait then did a bit of float fishing for the pike. God it was hot on the river not a bit of breeze so we had to fish under the large trees to get some shade. By 11oclock we had three all around the 11 pound mark. Grandson getting hungry so we pulled into the river Leven for lunch by the river and pretty damned nice it was too. Had another three after lunch all again about 11 12 pound mark then nothing for about an hour, then bang screaming reel float vanished in an instant, grandson grabs reel and the fight is on. Five mins and its near the boat it's some size it's back is really wide.Just as we thought it was tired she did one last dive and my grandson turned into victor meldrew I DON'T BELIEVE IT was the cry hooks came out that would of been my pb. The joys of barbless hooks. Really enjoyed the day.
