moor man
Hi, anyone use a williams peep sight? I have a scope on my marlin 1894c at the moment, but it came with a williams peep which I removed. Just wondering if anyone uses one of these and how accurate they are? I have been looking at different sighting systems.... skinner ghost ring, scout scope... even long relief pistol scope. I will probably try the peep again but really see a scope on this rifle as im a scope sort of guy Im the wrong side of fifty, wear glasses and have some astigmatism so not sure how effective ghost ring/peep sights will be, any thoughts? Cheers, moor man.
Underdog
How many photos do you want lol. I have used a Williams fp on a Win 94 in 30wcf and currently on the same in 357m. I find it a relief to be free from a scope! I was so impressed I got one for my 9422 and that now is free of glass! With my 357 I will shoot to 200yds on critters and 300 for fun. I am 46 and also wear glasses. Bino's come in handy! U.
Mikaveli
I've got a Williams peep on my .357 Marlin. I can manage 25 round sub-inch groups with factory ammo at 25yds with no problem. Only thing to watch is how big your foresight is - the longer range, the more of your sight picture is obscured.

It is also not unusual to need a taller front sight too. U.
