chrisjpainter
I can finally hear the combines working their magic! time to get the decoys out and gets stuck in on the pigeons. Anyone had any good bags with the air rifles recently?
turbo33
I think its going to be my preffered choice this year Chris. The farms I have a bit shot over by others and the pigeons are virtually un decoyable after the first shot. I think the pcp is the way forward. I've been out a couple of times but only half a dozen from the sitty trees. Went out for a couple of hours last night, and bagged a couple with the HW100, then bumped into the farmer, And hour and a half later, I was out of time Still, the chatting bit has to be done to keep them onside
timmytree
No combines out here yet but but I'm doing ok picking them out of sitty trees and off the wires from a hide. I had 17 on saturday but only picked up 14, I hate losing them in standing crop! Once the decoys and combine are out I should do well. (hopefully!) chrisjpainter
it'd probably be wrong of me to now start complaining that the combines are keeping me awake...
chandler
15 is my biggest bag so far this harvest, with 20 odd decoys and a bouncer. More to do with the Rape stubble being so high than the pigeons not coming in. That said, looking at the Barley stubble this weekend!!
