goldypurple
I have just recently lost my land due to someone offering money for it ( way over what I could afford anyway) I'm on the lookout for a patch of land to share or manage for someone, I have tried the usual knocking of doors and sending letters etc etc but heard nothing as yet (my fingers are crossed) so I thought I'd ask on here, so if you know of anywhere or anyone please point me in the right direction or if you're willing to share, I'd like to hear from you. I have experience of shooting anything from rats to deer, I have all the appropriate insurance and I can supply references I have shotgun and firearms up to .308 I'm happy to be a lamping partner or something getting desperate as I may lose my rifles due to no land. look forward to hearing from someone. rimmie
Same thing happens to me, but I managed to get some more land. Luckily !!! Something will come about mate, if you've had your ticket a while why not think about asking for an "open licence" you haven't got to worry about land then ? Paddy Galore!
man that sucks and blows! sorry to hear that mr purple, i had a similar problem this year with my main perm, i've now got a tiny splodge (in comparison) of family owned land left and no more centre fires as there's only corvid/ pigeon/ rabbit left, the odd fox but they are natures refuse collectors and pick up anything i miss so i'm loathe to shoot 'em. hope you get something sorted soon. paddy. Same thing happens to me, but I managed to get some more land. Luckily !!! Something will come about mate, if you've had your ticket a while why not think about asking for an "open licence" you haven't got to worry about land then ? you still need land for the fac regardless mate, open ticket or not. channa
I lost my guns two years ago due to the exact same circumstances,i to had an open ticket. With lancashire you have to have a named piece of land to keep your rifles as i couldn't i had to give them up. As i hadn't notified them straight away i was also told i could be prosecuted for deceiving the chief officer of police. Just be careful id'e notify them but that's upto you. Also according to the basc website as long as your going on paid stalking days theres no reason for them to take your rifles off you. I really hope you get this sorted and keep your FAC if i can help you in anyway please let me know! ATVB Tim
