rabbit hunter
This is me holding my four polecat kits. They were the offspring of my polecat Jill and Sandy Hob. Next to me is my labrador she is a small lab and we want to line her next year but we want to use a small lab dog not a big one. In the top 5 foot hutch is my sandy hob, he was kept seperated from 1 week before birth and until the kits were about 10 weeks old. In the bottom 8 foot hutch is the lovely polecat jill. Here is another shot of the 4 kits. Here is a good shot of my two - what i think are very well built - ferret hutches. A shot of my dog Here is a good one of my sandy hob. He was the first ferret I ever got I dont have any pictures of the polecat jill (mother) but I will try to get a picture of the polecat jill, sandy hob and the polecat jill i kept out the litter. squirrelhunter
Does neutering a ferret make it unsuitable for hunting? Or does it not matter?
rarms
Not a prob for hunting I dont think, however I think spaying the jill can cause problems with her health, so it is best to get the hob vasectomised but this is not 100% reliable and she can still get pregnant. rabbit hunter
The Lab The Sandy one. The young 'un The mother I would get all 3 in one shot, but it seems to be quite tricky - holding 3 ferrets and taking foto of them.lol

red_stag88
You've got to name them! The Sandy one is now 'Bob'
