greenshank1
Hi I was wondering what paint you use for touching up your decoys. I have 6 mallard and 4 teal dummies I am going to brighten up for the start of the season and was wondered what paint was the best to use. steve0146
I touch up mine with the little acrylic paints from B and Q. I extend the white patches, which was recommended on the Ducks Unlimited website. Top one is a magnum, middle one is a magnum repainted, and bottom one is a standard deek. Touching up certain areas also make it appear bigger. A lot of people comment that the magnum is the size of a goose and looks silly, but next to the dead bird, not far off the same size! henry d
Acrylic or airfix paints with tippex or similar for the white bits. You may want to change the size of the picture in your signature ref- site rules.
kent
Dulux weather shield can be used on plastic or wood, needs no undercoat and the paint suppliers will mix to your colour from a white base. Downside is quantity but it keeps
