Should be ok. Normally if the engine is run in and everything bedded, changing to synthetic is fine.Couldnt say on the specifcs regaerding the sae ratings but if it is within manufacturers spec no problem I can tell. Just make sure you flush the engine with some cheap stuff good and proper. If you mix the 2 eveen in small amounts, after a week or so it will turn into a firm jelly when the engine cools. This cannot be moved by the oil pump so no oil circulation= oops!

I speak from experience. Bought a used van and serviced it on arrival with manufacturer recommended oil only to discover a week later previous owner had used synthetic. When I dropped the sump pan, it looked like a jelly mould out of a fridge.! No harm done fortunately as no oil pressure on start up so off immediately and found the fault.

Go for it the terrano engine is not a high performance engine so should be fine with pretty much any oil, might be worth flushing your engine through with a cleaner as if mineral and fully synthetic mix they can make a nasty sludgy mess. If you dont want it and is that cheap i will have it for my disco
