THE AD
Cheers Figgy going to Kieth Sports at Saltburn he's them in 5s so i'll give them a go as i'm only shooting a pond so birds will be close in. He said he sells a lot to duck shooters. It will kill two birds with one stone so to speak i can have a look around Kieth's and keep the grandsons happy by taking them to the beach. anser2
I would be very doubtful about any gun shop that recomends steel 5s for duck. 4s at a minimum , 3s for prefrence and 2s if you are flighting high mallard if you want reliable results. Guest cookoff013
I would be very doubtful about any gun shop that recomends steel 5s for duck. 4s at a minimum , 3s for prefrence and 2s if you are flighting high mallard if you want reliable results. sometimes the guys behind the counter are di(ks. they no nothing.especially when articles keep being published that 28gauge 18gram #7 steel loads at 1300fps can effectively be used on geese. anser, i totally and 110% agree with your recomendation. but in reality, if they dont have those shells to sell, they wont recomend them. to the OP, use ansers recomendations. save yourself a whole heap of messing about. when that first shot connects, you will know.
