RIP Gareth. I too, have known Gareth for over 30+ years, and it was he who signed a letter back in the 1980's to allow me to use a .22LR rifle on his farmland as well as in a shooting club (Litts, Newport) As mark has said, he was a funny old so and so, and many times we went up there to get Crows etc, only to be told to leave them alone, as 'he liked them'.

Hopefully, Mark and I will hammer the Crows/Jackdaw's that have been there for ages, and we have been unable to shoot. Looking forward to Thursday and many other days to come in the future.
