Looking for a Bedlington Whippet Cross "type" (family pet)

After the death of 2 of our 3 dogs over the last 6 months, (of old age,and illness) my family and I are after another Bedlington Whippet Cross "type" bitch, as a pet. (Not a working dog).

We try to source our dogs from rescue centres, but after searching all over we've had no joy at all.

We'd even settle for a Whippet cross "type" bitch, smooth or rough coat.

We would prefer one around 12 months old, but would consider a puppy???

We go for these type of dogs due to their lovely temperament.

Soooo. If anybody knows of someone who has one who is not making the grade as a gun type dog, then point them my way!

Just to add, travelling has to be realistic! I don't mind a few hours drive, but Scotland/Cornwall, or the like, is out of the question.
