kiffy
evening folks, im sure i read somewhere than a right handed escort can be made to suit a leftie with shims. is this true and have any lefties tried it? im keen to get one and asap but my local shop cant get any 3 1/2 inch lefties for 6-8 weeks and he said even that isnt a guarenteed date as i want a camo version. so i am tempted to get a right hander. if anyone has tried it, any issues with carts fying the wrong way? Shropshire_Lad
Only shot one a few times and found them odd to shoot, lots of noise and delay with the cartridge ejecting. I shot well enough though so I'm sure you would get used to it after a short while. As a leftie shooting a right hander it was a little off putting watching the empty crossing in front of my face. aga man
my shooting buddy is left handed and uses a right handed escort for pigeons. although he has fired many thousands of shells he sometimes complains of gritty feeling eyes probably burnt gunpowder. my friend is fine with it and it dosen't bother him but personally i can't help thinking shooting glasses are a good idea. solz
ok fair enough. There is alway the option to get the gun deliverd to your local RFD? but that will have an extra cost and might also add so time on to wait. but may be quicker than waiting the 6 weeks for one from edgar brothers.
