I would say that there are three things to think about.

 

Has it got a top of the range LPG system fitted and was it installed by a specialist installer.

 

Do you have a LPG installer near to where you live should you have problems.

 

Are there filling stations near to where you live as I have to do a ten mile round trip to put gas in my truck.

 

I have LPG on my 4ltr jeep and find it quite economical to run but if I was getting another one I think that I would get a diesel much less hassle if it should go wrong.

lots of filling stations by me shell is around 69p a

when you say economical what mpg do you get

I have a d22 diesel and getting around 22 mpg loaded

just looking if this would be better

I have a disco 2 4ltre v8 on lpg its a zavoli multi point system with 2 under body torpedo tanks , I fill the tanks for around £45 and I average 230 miles do your home work lpg isn't that hard to maintaine yourself once you get into it, I change my own filters for £4 clean the injectors for £12 every 6 months and get it checked for leeks at the dealers for £45 so not that exspensive
