AndyCM
Went out in the wind & rain earlier - first real use of a new scope & scope mounted lamp. Tried some bait, but no customers - so did some calling not expecting much in the wind - but one fox came looking after a few mins - dropped that kept calling and another from the same direction. Went to pick them up & both lying where they fell 10 feet apart. A happy end to 2006. Happy New Year all AndyCM

AndyCM
Hi Stirky, Yes, it was vixen first - and about 5 mins later the dog showed up. Cheers AndyCM
Teal
Very silver the one on the right, have seen pictures of near pure silver ones. Beautiful animals, but if they've got to go...

AndyCM
Cheers Miffy, Here's a better photo, in daylight. I did not notice when I took the original photo how silver the vixen was - it was dark at the time. - Maybe it was part way through summer / winter coat - it shows some red at the legs here. Cheers AndyCM
miffy
I've shot foxes that were almost completely black but never one like that, i don't think it is due to coat change perhaps someone else knows better
Frank
CHAMPION stuff Andy. That is a lovely silver fox sir, have got a few like that myself, some say due to fox farm escapees, but i thought they were the artic foxes that were bred on farms? Frank.
