neil3728
I have a GS I think had it for two years now. So far its had the gearbox dropped to replace a leaking seal and a new steering box fitted. Lucky all was done under warrenty. Also uss less to tow with manual gearbox is just ****. My dad has one, the same as mine but he has had no problem, so maybe i just got a naff one.
Zulu
Have a look on this forum plenty of owners advice http://www.freel2.com/forum/index.php , I have had 4 since 2001 and current one is a 2010 GS TD4 , found them to be very good in the bad winter conditions we had couple of years ago . Mr Potter
I've had my 09 TD4 HSE Auto for just over seven months and have done about 12k miles including two trips to Holland via. Dover from North Cheshire. Car has performed faultlessly so far, very comfortable, nippy when needed (got a ticket in the first fortnight!!!). Not really had it off road yet but I'm more than confident it will cope. MPG is about 37ish on a good run and 32ish knocking about. Only drawback is the boot space isn't massive but I was spoilt by the cavernous space in my previous car, a P38 Range Rover. Highly recommended Mr Potter
