NIGHT SEARCHER
If you know of a good Gunsmith that can sort it out it should be a lot cheaper than Daystate. They always try and talk you in to a service. Someone on here has just paid them £185 for a service. I phoned them over a leak on my Huntsmat FTR they said it will need a service and new 0 rings. And quoted me £135. Stripped it myself and fitted a new seal kit for £18 job sorted. Don`t get me wrong Daystate aftercare is very very good but they know how to charge to. It`s just finding a good Gunsmith that knows what he is doing. Russ.
secretagentmole
XTX Air, cheaper than Daystate!
Ttfjlc
Well took it to my rfd today, he tried filling it with air and it leaked out of the fill valve. What he found strange like some of you guys was that long piece of brass, he told me it wasn't required so didn't know why it was there! He's going to replace the valve for me and will let me know later in the week if that cures it or reveals anymore issues. He could only assume the wood was sanded down to suit a left hander but still said it was worth a bit in working order. Thanks for the advice about daystate, had a look on their website then saw their prices!
secretagentmole
Check out XTX Air, he is good for servicing and is a Daystate accredited service agent!

sishyplops
What was up with it then?
Ttfjlc
What wasn't up with it then! Screws missing, screw threads damaged, main problem was the main valve seal was leaking, it had been bodged galore, my gunsmith said he managed to fire a pellet and it went an inch deep into pinewood, he said somebody had obviously tried to tune it themselves.
