kennett
I was taken out by a friend at the weekend for my first real wildfowling trip. We shot pinks under the moon and then moved marsh and shot ducks at morning flight, safe to say I am now completely addicted! I would love to do it properly, but dont have a marsh proof gun or much spare cash, so.basically im wondering if anybody has any spare waders or an old 3 1/2" semi auto at the back of the cabinet that they.could sell for a good price? Thanks Alex
kent
If your not deep wading go get yourself some PVC Hip boots for about £30-£50 and a good solid boxlock s/s for £250 tops. £300 all in easy. 3 1/2" magnum 12 ga guns are far from essential even for geese. Agreed , look at the bison hip waders on ebay , I think mine were around £20, there are plenty of 2/34 and 3" loads that will be fine on geese . Give it a season then think about slowly upgrading your gear.
