JimLondon
Try taking the top plate off that may expose the sling stud connector,I've had a few where you don't need all the gubbins.. ATB Jim
The Essex Hunter
That will not fit on a sling stud fitting.... I would guess the knob on the reverse spins through the body and turns the thread on the other side, which in turn will screw into a blind thread in the stock... Some what similar when putting furniture together when they filling is let in to the sofa base... TEH
Dekers
There are absolutely loads of Bipod/rifle fittings, and if you want a stud fit it looks like you have the wrong one.
English archer
I have found out how to do it now. The plate gets fitted to the stock, and then the thumb wheel attaches the bipod to the plate. It's only going on an Air Arms S200, that I use on rabbits, so should be fine. The Essex Hunter
Mark it out with some masking tape on the stock... TEH

Before doing anything, it looks like its a none swivel as well, may be worth taking back and exchanging for a stud fitting and swivel as well, I understand your wife bought it, but unless you shooting on dead flat ranges, none swivel are a waste of time in the field. Only my opinion like. Reggiegun
