chady
Ok I'm used to using hull comp x fiber 28g 7.5. But seen gambore high velocity 28g 7.5. The gambore are slightly cheaper and less hassle to get?? Do I stick to what I know or make a change? Thanks
Ttfjlc
If your happy with comp x why change? Or simply try a box of hv's to see how you get on, I've personally never shot the hv's but I've used the comp x and found them to be the softest shell to date, great cartridge. Trevorevans
Don't really like either personally but if I had to choose I'd stick with the Comp X, maybe hard to explain as they broke clays fine but just didn't feel right. A friend swears by velocities and gave me a box in return for some I'd lent him, tried to use them up on close clays at the local ground but had a few left in my pocket at the following days registered and even the ref was laughing as every time I fired one it was like being at a wedding, at one stand he had to turn to the shooters behind me and ask if I'd broke the clay, horrible carts. That must be embarrassing waiting for the ref to get confirmation from the guns behind! Did you use the old saying "please forgive me, I got given these?" Did you use the old saying "please forgive me, I got given these?" Lol. No I think he realised that I'd had some odd cartridges mixed in there as there were only 4-5 of them but every time I sent one off it was like a party popper. Embarrassing at the time but I can laugh now. Strange thing is my mate has no problem with them at all but stick one through my gun and it's just a shower of confetti. Are they being stored correctly ? I have shot an awful lot of the gamebore velocity's and never experienced any problems with unburnt powder . I find them a very good shell for the money.
