chady
Hi decided to get above jacket! But looks like I got to get of internet as saving £20 from Jhon Norris! Any good ? Now with a t shirt I'm a 44 inch chest with a thickish jumper lets say 45 inch! Now they only has two either 46inch or 48inch chest! Now how accurate are these measurements? Now technically I should get the 46 inch going by the tape? But two extra inches would it be a big difference?? Would the extra two inch give me a better flexibility or will it be just to baggy?? What do you recon? Has any one got eithe the 46 or 48 incher? Lol And would be prepared to put a tape round there man boobs lol Thanks Jamie Or even what size there jacket is compared to the acctual size ? bluesj
Just looked in mine and it says 54, I'm sure its not 54" so can only think its 54cm so double that for euro to uk size works out at 42.5 inches and i'm 42 inch chest. I wouldn't want one any bigger.
bluesj
Just found out 54 = 44"
joe1978
The euro size thing is weird. I'm a medium most things and a 38-40 jacket depending on fit. I got a keeper jacket in 48 tried the 46 and for normal wear it was about right but for gun mounting and extra jumpers etc the 48 even a bit on the larger fit was probably the better choice. chady
Thanks joe? Sorry if you don't mind me asking? What's your actual chest size? And blue I take it yours is two inch bigger than your actual chest size? Is that to allow for a thick jumper? And if so withe I thick jumper can you still move around enough in it? And be comfy? Thanks again

chady
Thanks all. Think I'm going to have to find a shop so I can try one on. Otherwise going to cost me more in the long run.
GOLDCREST
I wish "They'd" give up with their funny foreign measurements.. Euro sizing and quoting distance in kilometres...It means nothing to me...I'm English NOT European.
tomp875
I bought a seeland keeper jacket from John Norris, ordered a 44 and when it came it was huge, I rang them up as they only had a 44 or 48 online but they actually had more in stock I ended up with a 36, they sent a courier to collect the 1st one and sent the smaller one same day free of charge
chady
Thanks tom so there customer service sounds good!! So if you ended up with a 36 what is your actual chest size with a thickish jumper on? Now I recon that I put a thickest jumper on and put a tape round me man boobs not to tight came to about 45 inch. So if I got the 46inch would that be about right? Or to tight or to big? Thanks fister but not got any other makes to com pair it to so all a bit blind!
tomp875
Im a 40 chest, the sizes on there site I think are different to what the coats say in them as they sent me a 36 but it says 46 in the coat, I have no idea how they work there sizes out! But the service they provide was really good and they were happy to sort it out for me

joe1978
Sorry chady, just came back to this thread. I measure 102cm across my chest (with full lungs) that's over just a normal shirt. As I said 46 was just too neat for me with a jumper on but 48 fits ok, not catwalk tailored but comfy for gun mount etc. Joe
chady
Thanks joe well with a tape around me I'm 115cm. So I probably need one that equates to 50-52.... To be honest I think I'm going to pay the £20 extra and get it from a shop. Thanks joe Jamie
