Hi everyone.

I have not put this in the sales section as I will explain below.

I will be selling my Photon in the new year to fund an archer scope. What I am asking is would anyone be interested on here first before I do put it on ebay. There is still a 2-3 month waiting list for these. I was also told I had to wait 4 month but actually waited 10!!!!!

It has been used no more than 5 hours and is in mint new condition. In those short hours of use it has had fox and many, many rabbits. I know it is tight when it comes to Christmas but for a very small deposit I will keep it for you until say 2nd week in Jan.

£390 PM me

Cheers

Rich

considering they are meant to be the dogs danglies , can I ask did you have any problems with the focusing, I have heard reports that they where not too clever ???

can I also ask how did you find it worked (truthfully) did you use an external IR and if so which one and what scope did you use it on

sorry for the questions

I spoke to Scott Country today, the days of big waiting lists are all but over and they said they will have a significant surplus of Photons from early next week.

£399 posted, thankfully this will end the crazy games on ebay and bring second hand values down to an appropriate level. I expect you will be able to buy a second hand one for £250 in the not too distant future.

I have 1 on 1 of my Hmr's - It's very good for the ££'s but you do need to use an alternative IR source as the onboard 1 is pants - I use either a T20IR or an NM800IR they are focus fussy - a coaster (available off E8ay for £3ish) makes focusing easy. :good:

I'm not sure what you mean by "what scope did you use it on" - they're a 5x42 scope with a 30mm tube & the Digital NV is fixed to the Objective end of it :hmm:

As above regarding the scope. It is a scope. Also yes use a coaster on the focus ring as it is tight although you dont really have to move it once set. Again onboared IR ok. A little grainy but add an external IR and it is very clear. Take a little to get used to the brightness level but only half hour. After that its a good piece of kit. I also have it on my HMR and even with the crack of the HMR rabbits dont really bolt. If your quick you can take 3 or 4 at 100 yards from the same group of rabbits. Fox out to 150 yards is also good, have had one myself at 130 yards
