bruno22rf Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 Take the drawer out and put it in the dishwasher-meanwhile get a Toothbrush and using a spray cleaner -brush all the carp away from the drawer opening top surface-wipe out as much residue as you can to avoid it going into the drum. old rooster Posted December 8, 2013 Report Share Posted December 8, 2013 The softener usually siphons through into the drum when the softening cycle starts, if the pipe in the softener tray is blocked it can't work. It could also be that the solenoid that let's the water into the softener tray is not working (as previous poster suggested).
