tiercel
Due to the scarcity of rabbits in my area this year i have taken to the lamping the hawk to try and get him some flights at rabbits. Well tonight i went out for the first time the first rabbit i got near just run away and the hawk took no notice (it might as well have not been there) . "So much for this lamping" i though, but to my surprise the next rabbit i walked up he went straight for and only just missed. "Things are looking" up i thought. On i went another couple of fields or so and another rabbit came in to the beam. This rabbit decided to squat so i walked it up, got within about 15 ft of it and it decided to make a run for it, the hawk was off my fist in a flash the rabbit had a fare lead on the bird, but he soon made that up but not quick enough as the rabbit made the wood before the hawk could get a talon on him. at that point i thought"thats enough 2 good flights not bad for the first time on the lamp". Im really looking forward to the next time when who knows we might win one.
