fuzzypigeon
You'd get a better gun using cash, cash is king when it comes to negotiating a deal
Dekers
................and if you get a better deal by swapping you found an idiot, he swapped to remember, so if you got a good deal he didn't!
kent
Certainly do if its from Trade, more money is made from buying used guns cheap and selling dear than selling new. Private sales / swaps depend totally on finding someone equally keen to do the reverse
Guest cookoff013
yeah, usually cash helps. if you want a different gun then you an part exchange. usually thats when you get completely fleeced by a gunshop. a friend got told his gun is only worth £200, then he sold it privately for a bargin £600. cash buyer. well worth it. i also would say avoid selling it with commision in a gunshop. they can sell it for anything. then fleece you for for more than you agreed. you just may as well give them the gun free. i`m not kidding. unless you have a brilliant relationship with your RFD, sell privately.
