Michael170874
Well whent out early this morning hoping for a good day on rape ,with the strong wind etc i shoot around ripon north yorks it takes about 40 mins drive to get to my perm of which i have thousands of acres with large woods and plenty of rape each year.during my drive i go through 45 miles of farm land with rape feilds all about huge woodland etc .i saw about ten pigeons in all .the feilds wernt touched nothing flying even the guys shooting pheasants wernt putting any pigeons up in the woods .so where are they.this is the first year in 12 yrs that pigeons seemed to have dissapeared altogether. So after todays misserable outing i dont think ill be going out untill mid january by then hopefully the birds will have shown up

blasterjudd
They are flocking here in North Essex and just started on the rape. No luck on Rape today though as inclement weather did not help much.
