TOSHCROCK Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 Hi all just ordered a new browning x bolt stainless starker in 223 and was wondering if anyone has got any advise on which moderator I should fit on it. jimmyb79 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 I have he exact same gun. Absolutely love it. It shot beautifully straight out of the box. I use a Wildcat Predator 8 mod on mine and having shot it side by side with a mates Tikka T3 with a T8 mod on, the predator is definitely quieter. Dekers Posted January 3, 2014 Report Share Posted January 3, 2014 More and more mods are becoming available, that is a simple economic reality of the money to be made in these vastly overpriced bits of tin can. There is a tendency towards smaller and lighter, which can only generally be a good thing if they still work/last. Most people will extoll the virtues of whatever can they have hanging off their gun, I run P8 Compacts on all my centrefires, they offer a package that suits me!
