chrisjpainter
I've had the Mamba and the Mamba Lite. The lite is FAR better. I had continual problems with white-out with the Mamba. Nothing I did solved the problem. scope position, changing mounts all that. No help. The reticles are great - but a bit useless if you can't see what you're shooting at. The lite was a very tidy little scope and I had no problems with white-out. I'd say it was overpriced though. £180 seems a bit rich for 1" tube and no IR. Nice flat turrets though. I've gone back to Hawke. A Sidewinder sits on my R10 and couldn't be happier with it. Dave T
I've got a Viper 6-24x50 on my .17HMR and a Hawke 3-12x50 on my .22LR - The Hawke is miles better and I wish I hadn't wasted my money on the MTC
Glenshooter
I've got rid of all my MTCs due to the white out, particularly obvious at high mag.
chrisjpainter
I've got rid of all my MTCs due to the white out, particularly obvious at high mag. I can't work out why MTC haven't done something about it. We can't all be putting our scopes in the wrong place...
