We put down 800 pheasant and have probably shot 200 over the season ( 25%) I have spoken with several other shoots and they are much the same in the local area. We have probably used 1/2 the wheat usually used in previous seasons ( good way of storing keeping) Of the 9 shoot days ( Saturdays ) 6 have rained. On the one frosty couple of nights prior to the Saturday we shot 60+ birds I have enjoyed the season and pity the none shooter but how has everyone else gone on?
