Adrianp
Hi All, I have inherited a John Blanch and Son leather gun case. I've had a look on their website and by the makers label and address inside the lid I can tell it was made between 1834 and 1880. It is tatty and one of the leather straps is broken plus there is no key for the lock. It's a nice thing to have but would anyone know if it has any value?? any help appreciated Adrian
Gordon R
The price depends on condition and that is very subjective. Look on E*ay for similar cases. Given the make and age, it will be of value.
Stuartclays
We've got a couple of very nice leather cases in stock, they aren't cheap and very well made but tend be looked for by very few people due to the price. Very limited market unfortunately! It's a shame as some are almost as well made as the guns the hold!
TIGHTCHOKE
It will have moderate value to someone who owns Blanch gun!

Gunman
Not a lot I'm sad to say £30 to £50. Cases have to be in fairly good condition internally and externally to realise any great value . The Blanch label is only of interest to the owner of a Blanch gun of that era so your market is limited .
