johnbaz Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 (edited) Raw Linseed oil is used in glazing putty (with cement) as it takes months to dry out!! Boiled Linseed oil dries overnight if it's rubbed in with the palm until the palm gets hot EDIT- BTW, I used Boiled Linseed oil on my stocks in the past, i've never used raw oil ever ..
