Decided to upgrade the disco to a defender, took a while to find one with the correct for me millage in the right price bracket that wasn't in either kent or Inverness

What do you think?

Looks a bit bare without a bulbar so suppose that'll be the first addition

That is clever the top pointing one way and the bottom pointing in the opposite direction It took me a while to get it in the end it was the fuel filler that did it for me.

On another point why would anyone buy a white 4x4 white and mud do not go together I get the white van thing like a London taxi if you do something wrong they can never be traced finding one black taxi in a city full of black taxis not simple.

They cant be that special. The door wont open then as theres hinges on the front and back of the door. The air intake is at the rear when the engine is at the front. The side repeaters are at the back and theres no bumper and the fuel filler is at the front!! Which specialist is it at?

Corblimey questions all the time

Door hinges are a special duke of hazard fitment

Rear engined as it's a sports version ........ obviously

The bumpers been moved to it more stream lined, obviously, as it's a sport version

So wgere do the rear passengers put their feet or how small is the engine. Until I see a link of the conversion I stick with my Theory of photoshop!!

Give Paul a chance to edit another picture!!

I was checking the wading depth of different 4x4's the other day, defenders don't do deep !

Defender was 500mm

Shogun was 700mm

Rangie was 900mm

officially its the top of the wheel rim as we were tought on our BORDA course but I had water (well mud) coming in through the vents on many an occassion!!

Sorry couldn't resist when I came across the pic, however in all honesty if did buy a defender at the weekend, hence the reason for having an eBay list of things to buy

So what do you reckon to the dukes of hazard upgrade, it'd save striker plate issues when closing the door and would enhance security no end, all I'd have to do is wire the elecy windows to the central locking!

I'll do some pics of the real thing later
