hoggysreels
Thought l'd ask! Early March lm going down to visit family in Farnham, Surrey ... on my way there, l might stop off at a guys place who has a few shotguns for sale .. it would be foolish of me not to take my licence and a box or two of cartridges. If l see something he has, lm thinking of picking it up .. nothing expensive, just a rough shooters sbs 12 bore ... So lm wondering if there is a nearby clay ground (to Farnham), to put a few cartridges through it .. or if someone wants an hour or so company in the field, l will somehow drag myself away from the inlaws, for a shoot ... got to be worth an ask. .... cheers
walshie
There's Bisley pay and play clay ground not far from there (open Tues-Fri), Surrey Sporting clay shoot is on 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month IIRC and Headley Clay shoot is on 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. (I'd check all these online before going though in case the days have changed.

dougall
best bet is Bisley Shooting Ground BSG website etc..you have to drive through the various ranges/huts but is well signposted and next to a William Evans gunshop.....top ground/huge sporting layout. William Evans shop, last time I looked was somewhat London prices so if you are looking in there bring lots of dosh!

dougall
Hoggys, what I mean is the shop for guns is expensive, the clay ground is very very good(nothing to do with William Evans a separate clubhouse).
safc1973
Bisley pay and play is (or was last year) 36p per clay - need to show your sgc & proof of insurance (eg BASC membership card). 23 stands i think with between 2-5 traps on each.
