digit
You've got to loosen the neck of the torch and then try the different modes, have you got the manual? Sorry that didn't work, it's to small Edited March 1, 2014 by digit

wymberley
I'm just in the middle of this - and a big thanks to nathan 83. The red LEDs bought in the UK are single mode (there's bound to be the exception to prove the rule). Nightmaster UK, to the best of my knowledge, don't stock them. Because the UK has an importer/distributor NM will not sell direct - I tried and few days ago and have just been notified that they can't/won't play ball. The Model No. that you require is 2MT-M in Red. Edited March 1, 2014 by wymberley

wymberley
Drop in the spring at the rear of the LED and the brass collar follows with the flat side outermost. Check that the LED if fully installed in the neck first though. I failed to do so and it wasn't and on assembly the spring was forced up over the LED threads. No damage, but a right fiddle to get it off.
