Guest rimotu66
Apologies if this has been done to death but please bare with me. I keep reading about NV and watching the videos that you guys put on here, I have never used one, never even seen one to be honest but I do fancy having a go at it when the funds allow. Question's then, is there such a thing as an all rounder I can use on my 12ftlb air rifle as well as my .22 rimmy and .243 Browning? As I said I havnt the foggiest about NV so please keep answers simple enough for me to understand please
Essex Keeper
Yes but no I've got home made nv it works a treat on my fac air rifle also spot on on my rim fire Also good on my abolt223 to about max 150 yards But you need pa scope
mick miller
As above, you'll need a pa scope. My unit works between 10 & 300 yards and you can spot out even further. Plus it's an add on so no dedicated unit required, just stick it on the back of your pa scope.
Guest rimotu66
Thanks guys, so something like the NS200 will do it all then? Any one got 3 PA scopes for sale
Grandalf
Ward-D-Vision works for me. Fiddly to set up but then works a treat on all my rifles. Edited March 6, 2014 by Grandalf
mick miller
Thanks guys, so something like the NS200 will do it all then? Any one got 3 PA scopes for sale I ended up doing the same thing, selling two of the three scopes and putting the same make on all three rifles. The only scope I held onto was the zeiss, which now lives in a box in the cupboard. Get a side pa scope, not one which uses front pa as it's a pain to adjust. baldy
Morning mick. Any news on when you might have a couple of units for sale.
simon1979
I've used the ns200 well my mates on a few different scopes, some scopes better then other for image quality. Notched any pa issues though. Its not the best nv unit out there, but its good if you want to swap between rifles easy and you can see about to 300 yards + . Not everyone's cup of tea I know, but well worth looking at Atb Simon
stan68
I use the ns200 whilst its not the best, Ive shot a lot of fox and rabbits with it and with its head up shooting position i find it easier to scan the area im shooting

mick miller
Morning mick. Any news on when you might have a couple of units for sale. I'm trying my hardest, I have new drivers for the torch arriving soon but have had dreadful delays on some parts from China. Also fitting it around work has proved tricky as there is shed loads on at the moment. Hopefully in the next six weeks there will be one or two ready, and the main parts can be protected from prying eyes. It's coming together though, the final tweak is to add a fuse to protect everything inside from any unpleasant power spikes, that's meant everything has had to shuffle around to accommodate it.
