garygreengrass Posted March 13, 2014 Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 I have just put in my CZ 550 .22-250 and ordered a new Sako .22-250 the barrel twist is 1 in 14, Just trying to find out if some has one and what is the best weight bullet they have found for the rifle,The main use is for foxing. Underdog Posted March 13, 2014 Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 My bud uses 40BT (Noslers) 4100+fps from his Sako. Flat as a flat thing and after 200yds penetrate better than at 100 so apart from being carful around 100yds placement wise after that he can pretty much aim on to 300yds which is a bloomin' long way at night! 300yd crows by day are routine.
