Lucky Shot 1958
Hi Guys, Some info please,I have recently been asked by my local sports club to control the rabbit population,I would guess it to be about 10 acres including the adjacent camp site. Camp it is now closed but people do take their dogs for walkies on this land,my question is am I within in the law shooting with a 12 ft lb pcp on this land. Most of the shooting would be during the early hours in darkness. Thnks in advance.
Dave-G
Yes, but I'd try to get the permission in writing. Early hours is good. Edited March 16, 2014 by Dave-G
team tractor
As said get a proof letter incase **** hits the fan . If it's private ground you have no worries but also in my experience sports grounds are huge and require more range due to limited hedge rows etc.
Lucky Shot 1958
I do have it in writing from the chairman and also from the farmer who owns the adjacent land. I'll go there this afternoon with the ferrets and hopefully get a few. Thanks for your advice.
