steveyg
Arranged a day out with a fellow Pw member Dando, arrived at the perm around 7.30,had a good reccy and found a good number of pigeon hitting a rape field. Walked them off and they came back nicely so set up. Within 5 minutes we had 4 in the bag and they were decoying nicely.. After the initial interest things went a little quiet, there were a couple of big flocks having fun in the wind however they wouldn't commit. Changed the pattern around and moved the magnet a few times however they still wouldn't decoy. Dando nailed a huge crow, dropped like a brick...lovely. I had a couple of long range pigeons and the bag was growing steadily. Things went quiet..then one landed in the pattern...guess who missed We couldn't get on the flightline as it was on the adjacent fields which we do not have permission to shoot We finished the day with 21 picked and at least 2/3 we couldn't find in the hedges. cracking mornings sport.. sorry about the quality of the pic
