rainman_l
Had a visit to A1 ground today, near Barnet which was my first visit, and met up with Bakerboy who was the perfect gent and a great tutor whom I would highly recommend, A1 - The site is off the A1 southbound easy to get to within 2 mins from M25 and the layout and facilities were top class people were welcoming and friendly and prices reasonable. The Helice layout looked really interesting and certainly presents a different challenge and worth further investigation. Well worth the visit. malkiserow
Did he appear with a pigeon decoy on his head? He did this at the London PW meet up and pulled a barmaid! Amazing.
bakerboy
The deco, a half shell flocked type will attract birds over a large area, especially if there is a bit of movement in the pattern. The bouncer rod was a 5' 8" 16 stone wobbler, soaked in real ale to blend in with the surroundings. I have to say it never fails

I for one dont think I would be man enough to try a full bodied on the head on that basis as I would be fearful of the results. Over to you Terry.
