Hard to get the stats but is there a difference between the Stealth and the wooden stock ones ? Length etc important . Also , seeing as these have many more users now , suggestions as to best hunting loads before I order a box of Eley subsonics ? Am wanting 3 in btw . Thanks for all info . team tractor
I was told the timbre stock is an ejector but I had the plastic stock as it fitted me perfect. I wish I'd never sold mine

kent
I have the same unmoderated. I use 18 grm Eley fibre 3" shells, effective clean range is less than many suggest so test yours on paper at measured ranges. Mine is very deadly at up to 25-30 yards then gaps appear in the pattern which will result in progressively higher wounding rates no matter how well you shoot. To be fair I don't find the un-muddied gun too bad noise wise and its very light and handy

fse10
As far as know they are the same size i have the stealth & just think it looks a lot better then the wood one also they dont eject but have a lifter that lifts the shell up a bit so you can get hold of it. Think it's a great gun use mine for magpies coming into dead rabbit bait, rats, sqizzers & rabbits out to 30-35 yards no problems at all i've been using plas wads so unscrew the mod every now & then whilst shooting to tip out tiny bit's of wad that chip off on the port's in the barrel. ATB.

ATB. I think the under lever release and the wide opening gate makes re-loading the next shell a breeze, not fast enough for left and rights but good enough for a fast follow up or quick re-load for a second opportunity. I also have an std top lever ejector single (aya cosmos) and I recon I cant get my shots off so quick with that as you need to open the gun at the top instead of under the trigger guard. A shooter and gunsmith I respect once said he could get off ten shots faster with a falling block Ruger no.1 than a guy could using a single magazine 5 shot bolt action with regards his stop and re-fill time and to be fair I suspect he might be right in his claim. vole
Can,t wait to get mine now . I just thought the pics on Saddlery and Gunroom website made them look differently proportioned . Would have gone for smaller gun if so . Just need to sell my other gun 1st .
