Browning 425 clay hunter
A quick update, I've ordered some pro gold line in 27lb breaking strain. 2250 meters for £63 but that will do me and my mates big baitrunners. Now I'm looking at hook length and hooks and swivels. Anybody recommend a good hook length, I've seen one called catfish Kevlar that looks good, hook wise I've seen some called catfish pro that get good write ups. mark@mbb
I have a pond about 1/2 an acre in the field next to my house i put two cats in 15 years ago and have never seen them since there have been a few lads who fished for the carp who have been snapped a few times. Any PW members who have kids / grandkids are quite welcome to come and fish it if they pm me it has no angling pressure only geese Edited April 13, 2014 by mark@mbb
double10
one of my mates did a similar thing, put a 6lb 9oz cat in 2.5-3 years ago I think. We fished it for a night last summer and he caught it: 19lb 12oz!
Penelope
Trouble is these things grow and grow and virtually every other species becomes a prey item. Look at the impact that they have had on the Ebro. I'm stuck between 'Jeez, these things go' and 'fertiliser'.
