Big Mat
Could anyone who has a side by side fitted with sling swivels take a measurement for me? I'm after the measurement from the front of the foreend to the sling stud that is fitted between the barrels. thanks mat
Gunman
Used to have to fit them to Webley 700's and seem to think it was 17 inches from breech face to centre of swivel . Last ones I fitted for a customer I just positioned in the place that looked right .I was taught that if it looked right it usually was . kent
Are these only done via drilling and tapping? I fancy putting one on the 10ga that I am currently bringing up to full fettle as its a heavy beast to carry around out of its slip
Big Mat
The ones i've seen have been done like that kent, its normally something i'd do myself but i am currently without the right equipment so it'll be getting done by the smith when it goes it to have the chokes opened. kent
Its the durability that concerns me on a gun that will see hard use in a somewhat corrosive environment
