Old farrier
Hi If you shoot the 425 ok and it's just a change don't do it IMO 425 better gun than the 525 don't know about your other choice your just getting a newer model Upgrade would realy be a heritage Best of luck with your choice All the best Of
HDAV
You will regret it...... I have a 525 and held a 725 black yesterday in the shop felt gorgeous! So nice I'm going back in a fortnight to try it out.... But I doubt it will make shoot any better and will certainly cost me money..... I did the same with a cynergy composite about 3 years glad I waited and shot it as it was dire!!!! Edited May 18, 2014 by HDAV
remy 700
O.K then , so wait a bit until the 725 is in reach hdav , thanks for the replies chaps
Salop Matt
Not a fan of the 725 with the orange in the action myself, a 2014 model 525 sporter on the other hand I very much like !
blackbird
I had a look at the standard 725 & I thought it looked bloody cheap & nasty compared to the 325, 425 & 525. Edited May 19, 2014 by blackbird
remy 700
725 handles well , but I liked the handling of a 525 I recently used , they seem a bit lighter and better balanced? Although I am no expert , just interested on views of the options , cheers for the replies
HDAV
The first one does look pants try a black S3 and say that looks cheap.......there are at least 3 generations of 525 on the market invector barrelled like mine invector+ and the latest one invector+ and squishy butt pad this is in spotters there are also the game versionsThe 725 game looks more like the 525 with engraving. Based on the 425/525 but more of a sporting gun, depends on what you want to shoot with it mainly If its clays then these http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_GTS-Elite_For-Sale_140428143514001 http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_GTS-Elite_For-Sale_130305164506001 http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_Ultra-XS-Titanium-Prestige_For-Sale_140120122907001 http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_Ultra-XS_For-Sale_131216162222001 Whats your budget? If you shoot ok with the Browning then stick with Browning/Miroku, as Berettas shoot/handle very differently
remy 700
Thanks for the links and advice I have seen the ultra xs and liked the look of them , but as for budget , £1200 max , I am going to stick to the brownings as I just seem to get on with the fit , is a 525 a better gun than the 425 some are saying not , although the one I used seemed more pointable , better balanced , or is it just the sharp chequering that made it feel crisp , I am unsure. Many thanks remy

shaun4860
I find the 725 rather Berettaish Its a shallower action compared to the 425/525/Ultra's These are a very nice gun http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_GTi-S_For-Sale_140412083833001 1999 gun http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_GTS_For-Sale_140127155540001 Lovely bit of wood 1999 gun http://www.guntrader.co.uk/Guns-For-Sale/Browning_Shotgun_Ultra-XS_For-Sale_140322124532001 2001 gun Not as new as the 725 mind

shaun4860
Nice gun, Have you shot a 725 shaun? I'm looking forward to trying one out..... I tried one but I prefer the deeper Browning/Miroku action, The 725 isn't as shallow as the Beretta, it's sort of between the 2 It's down to what you prefer really, Must admit I like the look of the 725 Black
